If you're developing an AI product or app, now is the time to get funding for it.
Meta is desperately in need of ai innovators to join its team.
Last week it bought a 49% stake in Scale AI (for USD $14.3 billion) and has hired it's 28-year old CEO - Alexandr Wang and given some of his employees a place on the Meta team as a part of the deal.
Today Sam Altman - Open AI CEO (founders of ChatGPT) complained that Meta has been poaching Open AI employees, offering them signing bonuses of USD $100 million to join the Meta team.
In a tongue-in-cheek comment, Altman, according to CNN Business article, "Sam Altman says Meta is offering $100 million to poach his employees", said," there’s many things I respect about Meta as a company, but I don’t think they’re a company that’s great at innovation,” Altman continued. “I think we understand a lot of things they don’t.”
