Yahoo Finance is reporting that Saudi Prince/billionaire, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, has injected $300 million dollars into social networking site,Twitter.
He did this via his investment company, Kingdom Holding Co. (KHC).
KHC also holds stakes in other Western giants, including Citigroup, Apple Inc. and Rupert Murdoch's News Corp.
According to the above article, Twitter was able to raise $400 million in venture capital and other funding this year and is expected to generate close to $140 million in ad revenue this year and $260 million in 2012.
Twitter, like Facebook, is still privately-owned.
