Repeated use of smartphones, computers and computer tablets can result in a number of occupational hazards.
These include eye strain, backache and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Technology Magazine - Mashable, is helping persons who use these devices, to have a better experience when viewing their device screen.
They've come up with two infographics (information expressed graphically), that help users prevent eyestrain. These are:
1) Digital Eyegonomics, which details how you should sit to view your desktop computer
2) Smartphone Eyegonomics, which shows the positions in which to hold your tablet or smartphone, so as to decrease eye strain.
They are suggesting that users adopt the 20-20-20 rule when using their devices: every 20 minutes, take a 20-second break and look at something 20 feet away.
