David Smith, founder and former CEO of failed, alternative Investment Scheme - Olint TCI, was arrested on further charges in the Turks and Caicos Islands, today.
In an interview with Power 106 FM, Detective Seargent Willen Belliard of the Financial Crimes Unit (FCII) of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) Police Force, reported that the following additional charges have been levied against Mr. Smith:

1 count of theft
-
1 count of obtaining property by deception
-
2 counts of money laundering
These four (4) charges have been combined with the previous eight (8) levied on Mr. Smith in February, 2009.
Mr. Smith has been granted bail in the sum of US $2 million.
It is not known if he was able to make bail today.
